Volume II, Edition I

The Lodge has had a good year so far. Our Fish fry was a excellent start for the first one. I would like to thank all of the Brothers who showed up for clean up day. Then to have a excellent fish fry with so many Brothers out far the first one. It goes without question without the lady’s help, we would not have the success that we have in our lodge.

Congo Lodge Officer’s need to be committed far their appearance at stated meeting. I have had a hard time with opening and closing of the lodge. My memory has failed me at times. So I ask for your help, hopefully I will get better with time. Our teachers of the Ritual and dedication of the brothers on practice night is truly a blessing to our lodge.

Brother John Baxley lost a loved one in his family. Please put him and his family in your prays. May God’s blessing be upon all of us. Remember the one true light is our final destination.

Our next fish fry will be May 31, the last Saturday of the month. Spread the word of the increase in price. Please, we would like to keep our faithful customers happy. It is still a bargain for all. The Boy Scouts had a very good showing at the last fish fry. We need to thank them and support them for the help they have given.

June 2, will be our next stated meeting.
